Forever in Love

Joe Armstrong came home from the civil war eager to marry his sweetheart, Melanie Hamilton. After a long war, and being abducted by pirates on a ship, there is no end to the lies he's willing to tell to have the woman of his dreams. What shocked him was the change in Melanie, and how eager she was to wed him. Everything was going just as planned, even though Ole Jen, his nanny knew all about his deception. She wouldn't tell, she loved him like a son.

The marriage took place before his brother ever came home. And everything was going as planned. his father was letting him have the Golden Manor so he and Melanie could live there and have thier children there.

Still his brother hadn't come home after their father arranged their releases, and Joe had to find him.

But the deception he kept secret was bound to come out and when it did, he could lose everything he held dear to him. He'd done it for himself and his brother and they had agreed on the deception, seeing no other way for either of them to be happy.
