About This Book

Forest of Dreams is a collection of five short stories with author introductions by TR Wallace each one dealing with a different theme. Caught in Time is a new look at the old HG Wells idea of time travel on the premise of time travel being used for the purpose of criminal activities. The trial of Helen Lowery is a court room drama set in turn of the century Indiana, before forensic investigators and modern investigation methods. The wife of a wealthy man finds herself suspect after a cold blooded murder in the family home. Somewhere in the Darkness mixes military historical events with a man dealing with a head injury. Many of us know that foggy feeling just before passing out or when you suffer a blow to the head as the result of an accident. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you suffered a coma? The story surrounds the event of a young military officer who has been injured and his unconscious thoughts. The Hidden Door was a story that the authors wife insisted be put in this collection because it has long been her favorite. The Hidden Door is a story about one man's pain at loosing the love of his life while another attempts to find out why the hidden room in his house was concealed. It is a touching story of love lost, and love never forgotten. It is Already too Late is a story based in part on the old George Orwell theme of Big Brother and freedom of speech. What would happen if there ever came a day when your freedom of speech disappeared? When those who said the wrong things would be gathered up and taken away for speaking the truth the government hoped to suppress. Or that those taken away for re-education would be segregated in hidden camps run by a diabolical federal agency. For those who refuse to forfeit their rights there would only be one way to silence their voices. Forest of Dreams offers something for almost everyone, drama, historical fiction, mystery, romance, and some interesting new ideas based on stories by great authors like Wells,Traver, and Orwell.
