Forbidden Yearnings

Southern California seemed a place for dreams to come true for talented young Jill Schaeffer. She had come from Ohio to launch a career in photography and found a job with famous photographer Rex Alvarado. She expected the hard work, the long hours in Rex's office, but not the dizzying delight in Rex's arms or the passionate promises that said he truly cared -- or the mysteriously shifting, often savage moods that turned him into a stranger. Something was wrong between them, something so terrible that it forced Jill to leave the man she loved. But even as she cruised to Mexico, desperately fleeing, Rex was following her and reaching out for the one chance for happiness either of them would ever know.
