Devora Rappaport is an observant Jewish professional woman with everything going for her. But in the one thing that matters to her the most, she cannot find a husband. Finally, she meets David Cohen, an observant Jewish professional man, and they start dating, and they get engaged. Though they love each other and appear to be the perfect match for each other, there is one thing standing in the way: David is Sephardic, and Devora is Ashkenazi.
