Following the Mockingjay

Millions of people are in love with Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy. Something in these books speaks to both young adults and older people. Despite all the violence and ugliness in the books' post-apocalyptic world, Katniss's mockingjay calls us to justice and compassion. It shows us how to become the people we were created to be. In fact, its message is a lot like the message of Jesus! These devotional readings allow young adults (and older folks as well) to see the parallels between the Hunger Games books and Scripture.
