FOLLOW THE OWL? is the first book of a pre-apocalyptic series that revolves around the Beech brothers: Samuel Houston "Sam," Daniel Boone "Danny," and Jeremiah Johnson "Jerry." They had no way of knowing that the events of Thanksgiving would trigger a chain reaction that would dramatically change their lives forever... and possibly history itself. It began as a typical family gathering in a small East Texas town, with feasting, football and children playing in the yard. A tragedy set in motion a series of events that would lead the brothers on a search for adventure that evolved into a quest of self-discovery and a spiritual journey. It would take them from the East Texas Piney Woods to the Colorado alpine forests to the high deserts of Wyoming. Along the way, they encountered several mysterious, colorful and dangerous characters. They learned how to live off the land and experienced the beauty and savagery of nature... and "civilization."
