To 18-year-old Rosemary Bancroft, a movie production company "invading" her New England hometown was the most exciting thing in the world...but in a week Rosemary was secretly wishing the company would go. At first it was fun riding around in a sports car with leading man Ted Hartley, particularly when she saw how jealous it made her boyfriend Josh. And it was fun having her mother play a part in the movie. Then the fun was over. Josh really believed there was something between her and Ted, and her mother was talking about moving to Hollywood and trying for a movie career. Rosemary saw her world changing in a way she never imagined it could -- and didn't like it... But the most dramatic change of all was still to come.
