Flying High

Widowed Rachel Mooreland enjoys her job installing radio equipment in private planes at the Van Nuys, California airport. You'd never get her up in one of those things, though; like any sensible woman, Rachel prefers to keep both feet on the ground. -- Until she meets Coe Flaherty, a retired pilot who's happiest when he's in the air. She thinks he's the world's oldest "airplane bum"; he calls her "Lady Fussbudget." But when Coe takes her for a spin, then goads her into learning to fly herself, Rachel feels her heart begin to soar. Flight suits and helmets may not be the most alluring garb for a weekend getaway in an antique B-17, but for Rachel and Coe, it's the perfect way to get romance off the ground... and maybe even to love again!
