What would you do if you could see into the future? As a child, he dreamed of being a superhero. Most people never get to realize their childhood dreams, but Corrigan Bain has come close. He's a "fixer." His job is to prevent accidents-to see the future and "fix" things before people get hurt. But the ability to see into the future, however limited that may be, isn't always so simple. Sometimes the future doesn't work the way it's supposed to. And sometimes not everyone can be saved. When an old lover, Fbi agent Maggie Trent, asks him to be a consultant on a case she's working on, Corrigan is forced to confront old horrors as he tries to keep a grip on his own sanity while trying to stop the unstoppable: a killer he can see but cannot touch.
