About This Book
In Akers, Texas, a stranger calls on Deputy Sheriff John Grant to announce his intention to kill him in five days time. Since the man is unknown to him, Sheriff Grant has to go over his past to try to uncover a motive for the others' threat. When he does so, there is no way out of the situation save for a gunfight to the death.
