First Chapter

Phoenix Sands, American, finds the man of her dreams in Hong Kong resident, Sung Wu Chen. But her mother was killed in a robbery in Chinatown and she is unsure if her police Captain father has forgiven the Chinese race. Although Chen has assured her that he has left his Triad life behind, there is an attempt on their lives on their wedding night. Phoenix and Chen travel out of the city to the safer realms of his family. But that family still has connections to Chen's criminal past. Will they be able to protect the newlywed couple?
