Ben Weston's four-year-old daughter wanted a "real family," complete with mommy. And the mommy she'd chosen was Anne Marshall.

Anne was the newest architect on Ben's staff, a thirty-seven-year-old widow and mother entering the work force for the first time. But her excitement about the job faded when it became apparent that Ben disliked and distrusted her.
