Dani decided early in life that God called her to ministry and music -- not to marriage. Anyway, she s too busy with work, school, and the band Firesong, to worry about a boyfriend coming between her and God. Kurt returns to Tabor Heights to set up for a crusade that summer. He enjoys catching up with friends he hasn t seen in years, reliving memories and good times. He remembers Dani, his cousin Katie's best friend, the girl who disdained him because she expected better of him. Between the crusade, concerts, recording a new CD, and the wedding of Katie and Andy, Dani's brother, Kurt and Dani don't have much personal time. That suits her just fine.
