Firefly

Beautiful, high-spirited Veronica Fenway is known as 'Firefly' to the people of Belespoir, the remote Caribbean island where she lives with her father. She is fiercely protective of her father, and clashes bitterly with an injured stranger who criticizes the hospital set-up.

How could she guess that after her father's death she would be sailing away as that same man's bride to the tin mine where he and his partner work?
