**Contains the back story of Gina McCann** Lucy St. Claire has been studying hard on her master's degree, trying to put behind her what happened four years ago in Willow, Alabama. However, while working on her thesis paper for her master's, Lucy can't seem to shake the feeling that maybe a visit to Salem, Massachusetts would benefit her. She really never intended on ghost hunting like her idol, Professor Gina McCann-she only wants to become a teacher. But something is calling to her. And then there is Noah Hawkings, her best friend for the last two years. He doesn't hide the fact that his feelings for her past the bounds of friendship. But when he suggests that they take a trip over winter break together to Massachusetts, chaos becomes reality and they quickly realize that they will need each other to survive.
