Spunky, successful career woman Nicole Montgomery seems to have it all until a health scare turns her would upside down-for the better. Determined to use her second chance to pursue more meaningful dreams, Nicole trades her business suit for a simpler life in the country as the owner of a bed and breakfast. Little does she know that one of her guests is destined to take up more permanent residence-in the B&B, and in her heart.

Brad Calverton, renowned national critic of the hospitality industry, picks Nicole's B&B for a weekend away from the public eye. Although he's vowed to remain single, the sensuous husky-voiced Nicole crushes his defenses. Her B&B, however, could use some work. Fearing a bad review, Nicole convinces him to return for another stay, and this time, everything's perfect, including their deep attraction. But once Nicole discovers Brad's involvement in a development scheme that could destroy her dream, he will need to discover whether honesty really is the bet policy-and if his heart has found a home at last.
