Find the Flower That Blossoms

After being ostracized by her entire home town because of her relationship with a Black man, Ashley Summers becomes alienated and depressed. When her best friend is killed in the crossfire, Ashley succumbs to alcoholism. She does sober up and the couple moves away with the hope of starting over, but once they settle into their new situation, Ashley has difficulty adjusting. Her anxiety increases and problems develop between she and her boyfriend turned husband. As her relationship unravels, Ashley relies on sexual gratification to provide an escape from her fears and insecurities. Before long, she’s having multiple affairs and placing herself at risk to physical and health dangers. After being caught cheating, she attempts suicide, but instead of ending her life, she awakens from her coma and embarks on a path of self discovery that exposes her to heights never previously imagined.
