Janine is a single mother from Kay-Anlog, Calamba, Philippines, going to St. Monica school of nursing to better the lives of her and her two sons. And finally, Rose. She is a young 20-something woman dealing with being a Filipino who grew up in Dubai, U.A.E. with her parents, trying to branch out on her own.
