About This Book

Caught up in the State Governments crackdown on gay men, David is sentenced to 11 years in prison. He decided to use that time to study the law and on release on parole, he had qualified with a degree in law. Working as an articled clerk for a well known firm of lawyers, he manages to pass the Bar exam and became a solicitor. At first he represents mostly cases where men are charged under the Criminal Act of 1900 and Sections 78 and 79 that deal with 'Buggery'. In the course of his attacks on these acts, he is approached to join the Commission for Illegal Imprisonments. As part of the commission investigations, he finds evidence of coverups from the Roman Catholic Bishop, to Government Ministers as well as prison officials. His investigations also uncover rampant corruption in the prisons system and Russian Mafia links to murders inside prisons. One of these investigations turns to an attempt on his life by the Russian Mafia; which is run by the now defunct KGB.
