Things are out of control in this autobiographical piece. There are beatings, favorite uncles going to Vietnam, school yard bullying, jail time and 10,000 other things high school teens come to terms with. Nothing is ever what it seems and this story is not what is seems either. Written in raw form it moves with spontaneous efficiency from boyhood tom-foolery to adult turmoil. Things happen in a instant and there is no turning back the clock. The choices one makes will have life long consequences. The main characters in this book have had their share of bad choices. The question remains as to how they will redeem themselves.
