Majestic Maples, an exclusive community for the uppercrust, rests over rolling hills formerly teeming with timber and wetland wilderness. As nature gave way to progress, many of the Minneapolis area's most successful made it their dream location. Their own private suburban wonderland, letting them reign over vast fields of outdoor beauty. But there's a catch.

In the surrounding wild lands lurks a horrific threat. A nightmare some of the residents have met firsthand...but those who have cannot be asked to describe it. They're nowhere to be found.

Enter outdoor tracker, bounty hunter, and violence enthusiast Lee Bodkin. Along with deadeye partner Gladdis Montrose and attack dog Sheba, the team sets out to piece things together and stop the savagery. With instincts in stealth mode and weapons set to fire, years of experience and savvy are put to the ultimate test.
