Fear of Dying

Fear of Dying again features New Orleans reporter Wes Colvin, assistant D.A. Denise Lemoyne and N.O.P.D. Captain "Rat" Trapp, who appear in the previous four books of this mystery series. When Wes confesses he has a fear of flying, Denise urges him to overcome it with psychiatric help. Under hypnotic regression, Wes recalls a past life as Paul Martin, who died in 1980 when a flight he was on was bombed. As West tries to find out who murdered his past life self, he must contend with powerful Louisiana political figures and the violent racism of the KKK.
