      About This Book

      There are mysterious goings on at Farmer George's farm. First the eggs are missing, then the milk churn has been emptied, and then an entire bag of oats disappears. So, Farmer George and his dog Tam go off in search of clues to get to the bottom of these strange incidents. In his search we meet all the animals in the farmyard—including Hermione the cow and Sidney the horse, but none of them can help. Only Farmer George can think of a cunning trap to trick the culprits. Here we meet some of the animals we saw in Farmer George and the Lost Chick and Farmer George and the Fieldmice, with some new additions as well.
