Her broken engagement to ambitious young actor Clint Fleming was still painfully recent when the school year ended, leaving high school teacher Jackie Morrow with nothing to look forward to but a routine summer job and too much time to brook. So the sudden change in plans that brought her to her Aunt Cora's California dude ranch was a welcome reprieve for the lovely redhead. Perhaps there, in the majestic mountain country, she would be able to forget Clint -- especially with rugged John Clayton, the ranch's part-time "strawboss'" around to help her. The prescription as working when chance brought Clint and Jackie together again.
