Love can find you in the darkest of places.

Taylor knew he was putting himself in danger when he agreed to spy on his clan leader for the pack, but he had enough of the violence and the fear. The result? He's stuck in a cell and getting regularly beaten, and he's not sure the pack values him enough to send someone to save him.

Umberto doesn't know Taylor well, but that won't stop him from rescuing the guy. He hadn't planned on getting stuck in that cell with Taylor, but he doesn't mind taking care of the dragon shifter as they wait for the pack to help them escape.
