Since their return from Hell, elemental channelers Geneva Kane and Tripper O’Sullivan have dealt with the experience in different ways. Geneva returned home to Maine to be with her family and heal. Tripper returned to his detective agency in his native Tupelo, Mississippi â€" and pretended nothing ever happened.Thus, Geneva’s love for Tripper, discovered during their escape, is unrequited. But the attack on Tripper by a mysterious paranormal named Little Jack McGrath changes this. Geneva is attacked as well, but that’s a distraction to enable Little Jack to finish off Tripper. With Tripper’s life in the balance, the Ops team learns of the Sixteen, a group of voodoo magicians that are jilted children of the late Doctor Voodoo. Ops has battled three members of the Sixteen before and barely survived. How can they escape the force of the full family unit?
