Readers of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine have already met the Lunghi family of Bath and their unusual detective agency. What makes it unique is the fact that all seven family members - make that eight if you count the on-again, off-again Salvatore - three generations in all, work together every day and always have their hands full. And all concerned, grandparents to kids, love their work.

When a Mrs. Shayler appears one day on the doorstep, she insists there's something ominous in her husband's leaving a bottle of dishwashing soap in an unaccustomed place, and won't be dissuaded. Then, while fending off a persistent surveillance equipment salesman, the Lunghis must deal with reports about a man with knobby hands, dressed in a long black raincoat, going from pub to pub with a woman's photograph. He claims to be a detective - a Lunghi primate detective.
