International crime boss Anton "Anarch" Vladic has been successfully toying with world intelligence agencies for years. But now that he is about to pull off the crime of the century, he is going through a sort of mid-life crisis. His professional assassin girlfriend wants either a commitment from him or more power in his organization, and his ex-IRA accountant and second in command will stop at nothing to ensure that she doesn't usurp his own position of power. Anton just wants a break. He feels a need to reach out to someone that knew him when. Someone he can brag to, that he can connect with from his past. That's when an old school rival crosses his path. Through a chance encounter, family man Jack Kilbourne finds that the only way to ensure his family's safety is to become human bait for a killer desperate for one more game of one-upmanship before he pushes the world towards global devastation.
