All the wealthy Mrs. Simpson knew was that her half brother Paul was missing, and the ad she had responded to had been lying on top of the ransom note she found in her dining room.

What Marnie had no way of knowing was that Kevin Bradley and his partners were not the mere mortals they appeared to be.
