The murder mystery written by former journalist Daniel Dundon, takes Roberts from an Iowa pig farm to a Florida nudist resort and back to a Dubuque cathedral. In the process, he experiences a new lifestyle and a new romance, both with have serious repercussions for his marriage. While he struggles with these personal issues, Roberts uncovers a financial conspiracy at the highest levels of the Dubuque Archdiocese. The revelations of criminal activity by high-ranking church officials rock this blue-collar Mississippi River community and set in motion a dramatic courtroom confrontation. Representatives of the church and the state become entangled in an epic legal battle that will change this community forever.

Exposed, which was a semi-finalist in the 2009 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award competition, examines some of society’s peculiar sexual and moral inhibitions while taking readers on a sometimes funny and sometimes touching journey through the often-conflicting emotions of love, loneliness and lust.

Dundon’s first novel, Lassiter Hill, which is inspired by an actual Iowa murder case, was published in 2008.
