Eviction Notice

When a group of Iowa teens create a crop circle as a high school prank, they set in motion events that threaten to evict all humanity from Planet Earth. What follows is a raucous adventure of SciFi missteps and redemption. It's packed with comic mash-ups, alien abductions, romantic revivals, space battles, mystical fairies, invisible lawyers, rednecks with super powers, and lost alien cargo. The story's strength is its exceptional protagonist, Alice Able, a small town woman who's preparing to commit suicide over her failed marriage. It turns out she's the first person named on an Iowa voters list, and the aliens presume she must be the "person in charge." They stop in to deliver the eviction notice, and see if she'd like to comment. Eviction Notice leaps off the first page, with familiar science fiction and adventure themes, blended with strong female icons, a relentless sincerity, and a spectacular climax.
