Everything Will Be Alright

Spanning over two generations and two continents, ‘Everything will be Alright' explores the complex relationship between a young Jewish boy, Jake, and his devoted Muslim nanny, Asima, who loved the boy as if he was her own. A horrible act of terrorism begins the transformation of what once was a loving relationship between them into a web of distrust. Asima, once Jake's beacon of motherly love, is reduced to nothing more than a masthead for the Islamic faith. Fifteen years later, when unusual circumstances bring them together again, she has to make a decision of her own - whether to let her longing for him dictate her behavior or let his new found distrust define him and give up on their once pure relationship.
