Needing excitement…

I do not want to spend the rest of my life drawing hearts in the fogged-up glass where I waitress. I'm ready for more, for excitement, for a guy who wants more than the typical marriage and kids, blah, blah, blah. Boring. When Chad crashes into my life—literally—he's everything I've been looking for and more. But I can't help but wonder where he goes and what he does when he's late for our dates or misses them altogether. It's time to grab hold of that excitement and find out.


Needing escape…

Ever since my last bad break-up I've been a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. But when Katie enters my life like some kind of beautiful vision of purity and innocence—everything I'm not—I want to be with her, and find myself doing crazy stuff like bowling and mini-golf and having fun. Except my dad has put the squeeze on my life, forcing me into an internship or I lose my trust fund. I hope Katie trusts me and doesn't start snooping because the work I'm doing isn't exactly safe and her life could be in danger if she gets caught.
