Every Desire begins with the story of Joan Granger, an abandoned wife, whose loneliness leads her to tolerate a situation most women would find unacceptable as well as dangerous. Following the story of Joan, the reader takes a journey through several short stories involving extraordinary people the author has encountered—many of them celebrities. The author relates a chilling account of his experience with the Ouija. He remembers his friends who were or are infected with HIV.
