Every Breath You Take

When Alex Sampson starts a new life in a small town far from her obsessive ex-husband, she feels she can finally breathe free. She settles into her new home but soon she gets warning calls late at night, and there are lights out in the trees behind the house, and then an odd little man that suddenly pops up everywhere she goes and he's watching her! The pranks escalate beyond mischief but the local sheriff is unwilling to do anything about it. And then Alex comes face to face with the former owner of the house, a grieving, angry man, and her confidence begins to crumble. She has to ask herself some hard questions. Are these events connected? And, if they are, who could be behind them? Is someone trying to scare her away from the house? Has her ex-husband found a way to extend his obsessive and controlling behavior all the way across the country? And if her husband is not the mastermind behind all the scare tactics, then who is?
