Event Survivors

The end of the Aztec calendar predicted a world changing event. This Event describes a scenario. Evidence from prehistoric times indicates that something similar may have occurred in Earth's distant past. The concepts and stories told are mild compared to the devastation, turmoil and pain that those who perished and those who survived would experience and endure. Each region of the world would have a different experience and survivors would respond differently. Would there be any survivors in the scenario in this book? Would they have the ability to recover?
