After the death of their father, Tara and Della Sinclair's mother, Eve, puts the men in her life before the needs of her daughters

Tara's way of dealing with life is to shut people out, and bury herself in her art. Not until she meets Joshua Drake, a kind and understanding psychologist, does Tara begin to overcome her pronlems. But Joshua has unresolved issues of his own, and doesn't trust himself with Tara, particularly when he finds himself falling in love with her.

Della follows her mother’s misguided footsteps until she finds herself pregnant and alone. When she has a fling with Blake Steele, the only son of a powerful businessman, her friends talk her into passing off the pregnancy as his. Although financially secure, Della pays for her deception with a painful miscarriage, a loveless marriage, and overbearing in-laws. When Della decides to divorce Blake, he has other ideas, determined to make her love him no matter what the cost.

Entwined is a unique and delicately written romance novel. Set in a beautiful Australia, Tara Sinclair is an artist and an art teacher who is skeptical about love because of a dark past filled with anguish. Della is her older sister who lives a complex life of luxury defying love for money and lies. Eve is their mother who was never warm or affectionate. After their father died, Eve had always put men first in her life leaving her daughters to scramble for seconds. After Tara is raped by one of Eve's former boyfriends, she shuts down the world around her and buries herself in her art and teaching. Torn with anger and grief, she must come to grips with her painful past of neglect and abuse. She struggles to accept the reality of life she is currently living. Tara must learn how to forgive, accept and find love again. Will Tara ever be able to trust another man and find true love? Will she be able to forgive her mother and her past deceptions?

Entwined is the perfect title for this intricate romance novel which is truly entwined with the depth of its characters, lies, deception, passion, anguish, and many twists and turns throughout. Emma Daniels uses such amazing descriptive words in her dialogue. The words flow smoothly, which in turn, makes it simple for the reader to comprehend. Once I started reading this fabulous novel, I found myself so involved that I could not set the book down without wanting more! I could easily imagine myself clearly in each scene like I was truly there and I embraced the feelings of what each character was feeling. Emma balances the suspense and thrill in this novel with emotion and passion. Each character is a mystery all it its own and the lush settings provide for the full and rewarding experience.
