About This Book

Within each Tom Swift novel there are a couple major characters who you get to know, and a lot of secondary characters who walk in, say a few lines, and walk out. You never get the chance to know who they are other that in that context.

I have set about writing back stories for these people. The novels may not have the 9,000 - 15,000 words to devote to giving you a good background story about them, but these collections do.

This first book contains stories about the young wife of the original Tom Swift with her diary entries from their honeymoon, the tale of how the Swift's cook is challenged by a mystery person to a cook-off (along with the winning recipe), how Security Chief, Harlan Ames and his #2 man, Phil Radnor, keep the Swift reputation safe in the face of a plot to frame them, the lecture given by Swift Communications Manager, George Dilling, t a bunch of university students telling about what it takes to do advertising for Enterprises, and the memories and musings of a very proud father of Tom Swift, Jr.
