When an ex-con broke the conditions of his probation to sneak out for a little fun, he never thought it would lead to his death, and he could never have known the series of events that would unfold as a result. A series of murders seemingly committed by Kinetics - humans with genetically driven magical abilities - hints at a future no one can possible conceive. Brought on to the case, Detective Nick Rose must hurry to find and link the clues as the situation quickly escalates. At the same time, bounty hunter Adam Aichi and his assistant Able are unwittingly pulled into the series of events as they try to track down the bounty that got away, Cain Caliga. As well, a young college professor unknowingly begins to aide the killers while a mother and son fight for their life.
