Enemies and Allies

Charles, Blank, and Caleb return to Philadelphia and Charles is pressured into enrolling Little Sun Bird into a Finishing School. Charles encounters a man that had owned a freight company. The railroad forced him to close his doors, and he has horses, wagons, and harness to sell. After enrolling Sunbird into school, Charles finds a large orchard and stops to see if they have any plants available. He makes a surprising discovery and is tipped off to a farm where the owner died, and the farm and livestock are for sale. Charles travels to the farm and makes an amazing find while walking through the barns. Charles receives an alarming telegram and decides to take the family and return to Denver. Charles confronts Monica Rogers with an unusual request. Charles' Thoroughbred herd grows when the mares begin foaling, and folks start approaching Charles to buy some horses. One man won't take no, for an answer, and tempers flare.
