Empty Talk is a sequel to The Joining of the Hemispheres. Empty Talk was the grandson of the Mighty One, and was the son of the Yull. He was arrogant and disobedient and believed that he was invincible. His foolishness caused him all manner of pain and suffering and brought him face to face with death. He now realised that he was not invincible and would have to fight against unbelievable odds to survive.
