In this second book, you'll follow along with the middle sister, Emma. She lands a job as the teacher for the community then becomes involved with a situation regarding two of her young students, a brother and sister. They've been coming to school with worn clothes, and looking as though they were not well cared for, and some days arriving without a lunch. She must find out what the situation is. Once she arrives at their home, from there her life begins on a new journey.
