Emily the Irritating Boy in the Park

Emily's first day at Brownsville District Secondary School is a disaster and worst of all her best friend Megan isn't there to make everything funny. But at least Emily now knows the principal, Mrs. Barrow, and Doug, one of the auto shop boys, has asked her out which is scary but okay. And sure the whole school saw her fire engine red underwear but they'll forget that eventually. Right? So after school Emily does what she likes to do best - next to reading of course - which is go for a walk in the park across the road from her house. As usual she heads for the beaver pond with a bag of #2 carrots to feed the beavers and she would have got there too if it hadn't been for the strange, mysterious - and cute! - Boy in the Park.
