From 2x brain tumor survivor Adam Scott Campbell comes a collection of over 100 poetic works exploring subjects vulnerable and close to the heart, including finding courage to keep living, leaning on faith, and realizing your tremendous personal worth. Many of these poems were created during Campbell's many hospital stays, including time in a psychiatric ward (more on that in the About the Author).From the author: Embattled We: A Poet's War was created during my search for solid ground from which to fight the intense psychological, spiritual, and physical pain. I was struggling for my life while also battling depression and low self-esteem. Writing became my survival. This collection ultimately helped me realize my own personal worth and I hope it helps you do the same. Thank you for taking a chance on this work.Multiple surgeries. Relearning to walk.
