About This Book

Skepticism can be a healthy trait. As a Terran marine of the Colonized Planets Rebellion, Roger Renfrew learned to be very skeptical and mistrustful. Now, as an ordinary and well-traveled intergalactic Educube salesman, Vendor Renfrew still has a suspicious mind. Still, when Vendor Renfrew finds himself unexpectedly on fabulously rich Wood World, he is not surprised to find a wildly active Elvis Presley Nostalgia Cult. The planet leaders have bought the Elvis fans their own Elvis Presley clone from Terra. Nostalgia icons like Elvis keep the warm memories of Old Earth vivid in her far-flung children. Elvis is alive  and well, and the Woodies love him. A busy body Cultural professor from New Oxford takes Renfrew to an Elvis performance. Predictably, Renfrew is suspicious. He can't help wondering if Elvis is all that he seems. With the unwitting help of his beautiful guide, Sandee, and a simulhume Bogart/Blaine lurking in the background, he begins to work on a plan to put his suspicious intuition to the test.
