Eddy

Ten-year-old Eddy was a victim, a victim of a dysfunctional Australian mental health system.

Following a personal tragedy, his mental fragility was misdiagnosed and he was wrongly chemically shackled. All alone, he becomes flotsam in the overwhelmed system, spending years in institutional confinement.

However, the arrival of John Masters, a new psychiatrist from the UK, offers a glimmer of hope of rescuing Eddy from his continuing nightmare.

Specialising in hypnotherapy, John delves into the trauma of the man's childhood, hoping to release the demons ensnaring Eddy. As he does so, he stumbles on an amazing, life changing coincidence.

But John's utopian dream with a love affair, a new apartment and new car is sullied by false accusations by an investigative reporter. Dark clouds of drugs, violence, corruption and murder further blot out the sun from his new paradise.
