Willa has recently lost her only son in a tragic accident. She and her husband grow distant and sadly part. She is all alone and going downhill fast. Escaping to the high country wilderness near Mt. Shasta, California, she hopes to find some kind of a healing. However, her experience is different from what she expected... very different.
Willa hears an eerie crashing sound in the night and investigates, hearing moaning sounds nearby. Her urge to help whoever is out there somehow outweighs her fears. What and whom she finds is nothing short of shocking. It appears to be a spacecraft of some kind, and there is a man beside it injured and bleeding.
This is the story of two people from very different worlds who must fight tremendous odds to be together, especially since one of them is a vampire. ...
