Porter and his family have found refuge in the Appalachians, far from the mayhem and murder that grips the region. But food has become ever scarcer in post-disaster North America, and when Porter's step brother comes begging for help, he has no choice but to venture dangerously into a city under the brutal control of the Omega organization.
