About This Book

DYING TO FLY FISH

Loon, Vermont's Whitefork Lodge is a favorite among avid fly fishermen. In fact, the pristine setting has attracted so much word of mouth that a slick advertising agency in Los Angeles makes Max an offer he can't refuse to shoot a beer commercial on his grounds.

But Max gets more than he bargained for. The Loon Lager brewery is up in arms about competitors on its home turf, a local religious group is protesting the advertising campaign for the "evil" product, and among the film crew, there's enough open hostility and off-camera drama to start a small war. When the shoot's producer "accidentally" dies at the river's edge, Max can't help but be suspicious. And, as he fishes for a murderer, he may just find his own life at the end of a hook.
