Alison Liv Isner's sixth adventure starts in a new and unexpected way. While in New York City to honor her late mother, an emergency pulls her to use her newly-learned map reading skills to save the Dutch Spoon of Immortality-the very spoon her mother uncovered years ago, from the Geese who are trying to steal it. If the Geese find it first, they will become immortal, which would be disastrous for the world.

With her trusty friends Chicaletta, Glenda, Figgy, Bait, and Tristan by her side, she navigates the underbelly of the city that "never sleeps." Around every corner it seems there are dangerous obstacles, puzzles, and even trapped animals to be rescued! Ali's will and strength is tested all while growing and learning more about her mother.
